Claire and Rod's homestead is situated on the shores of Lake Naivasha set in beautiful lush gardens surrounded by yellow fever trees. The guest cottages are built of locally quarried yellow stone and thatched in papyrus with one very spacious double and one large twin, both of which have en-suite bathrooms.

Here you can enjoy the sounds of the African night including Hippos and Verreaux's eagle owls. All the rooms are bright and airy with much attention given to ensure the comfort of the guests. Early morning tea and Kenyan coffee is brought to your rooms with freshly baked biscuits.

The cottage nestles within green lawns and sits next to the swimming pool where guests can relax and enjoy the myriad bird life and striking views across the lake. Claire takes great pride in her kitchen and all meals are prepared to a very high standard using local ingredients and organically grown vegetables from the garden.

Much emphasis is placed on visitors joining Claire and Rod in their life at home allowing a more personal touch to guests visiting Naivasha. Peaceful walks and sundowners on the jetty overlooking the lake are just a few of the activities that Claire will organize.

With Hells gate National park close by and Nakuru a 15 min flight away there is ample opportunity to see game such as Rhino, Giraffe and Eland. For the more active, waterskiing on the lake or peaceful bird watching as you drift along the shores of the Lake.

With the airfield a few minutes drive from the house Claire can both fly and drive you to a place of peaceful sanctuary in one of the most beautiful spots of the Great Rift Valley.
